All Saints Day are Gregg Foreman and Katy Goodman. Gregg plays in Cat Power’s backing band, The Dirty Delta Blues Band. Katy is a member of Vivian Girls.
The two of them met in 2008 and and began exchanging music long distance this year. They are also releasing their debut 7″ single “It’ll Come Around” on Art Fag soon. It feature’s b-side “You Can’t Be Alone”. Both were included on their debut S/T EP (which you can hear right here).
They make guitar rock that is heavy on the reverb/distortion. I can’t help but think of The Raveonettes when I hear Katy’s vocals over the shoegaze guitars. You can check out both songs from the Art Fag single below:
