The World Cup kicked off today, but the big match for U.S.A. is tomorrow vs. the challenging England. Weezer’s Rivers Cuomo is a huge soccer fan, and got the band together to make a song for the world cup, supporting team USA. The song is a fun piece of pop rock, that isn’t too much better or worse than anything we received on Raditude last fall .
I’ve been trying more and more to get into soccer, and I think tomorrows game will help out the cause. Can’t wait for the game. The song was given away for free at itunes today, but you can grab it below.
