My girl Lissie wowed you guys when I posted her amazing cover of Lady GaGa’s Bad Romance. Now she is back at it. She recently covered Kid Cudi’s “Pursuit Of Happiness” at her Brighton Great Escape this past May. (Thanks to Sarah for the tip)
She gives the cover a powerful spin, transforming it to Lissie gold:

We're Sorry We Slept On Lissie's Kid Cudi Cover « The FADER — 2 Sep 10
[...] We’ve seen this live Lissie cover of Cudi’s “Pursuit Of Happiness” floating around the web for a couple days now. We also know the flair she brings to covers that should basically reside outside her comfort zone. For some reason, we were still foolishly skeptical. Maybe we were just afraid of the whole “happy-go-lucky blond girl sings introspective rap song” thing. Is that even a thing? Regardless, we’re here to tell you it’s completely worthwhile and made very much her own. What we’re saying is, our bad guys. It won’t happen again. (Via: WeAllWantSomeoneToShoutFor) [...]
