Interpol played their first show in a while this past Monday in Rochester, New York. The band debuted 2 new songs called “Summer Well” & “Success” along with “Lights”. The songs are also in the same dark atmosphere that we have gotten somewhat familiar with on “Lights”. I’m starting to really come around to “Summer Well”. I think these songs will sound a ton better on the proper recordings. All of the new songs will see the light of day on Interpol’s new album, which is set to come out on September 7th via Matador.

Looks like their new album will be the atmospheric of ToTBL with OLtA’s sparse arrangements. I like my Interpol dark so this bodes well, I just hope the songs are better this time out.
