Proof That Local Natives Are Classy Fellas

As if you needed proof…

I recently stumbled across a video of my boys Local Natives playing “Airplanes” exclusively for a girl who traveled 14 hours to see them, only to get rejected because of an age restriction. The band found out and played “Airplanes” for her in the cold winter night. The band always sounds good live, but this performances was especially special.

Not many bands would do this. Total class. The video isn’t new by any means, but it doesn’t mean it isn’t worth your time. Watch the video below:

[...] Sure, we’ve already posted this song in a couple formats and the video is pretty old now. But we dare you to not enjoy the context here. So this girl drove 14 hours to see Local Natives in Vancouver, only to realize the show wasn’t all ages and she was therefore stuck outside. When they discovered this, they chatted with her in the cold and played an impromptu version of “Airplanes.” She probably felt a whole lot better. Please do something half this nice for someone sometime soon. (Via: WeAllWantSomeoneToShoutFor) [...]
