A radio rip of an alleged new single from Kid Cudi called “Erase Me” has been the latest victim of the radio rip. The song was premiered on 96.5 KISS FM, a Cleveland radio station and it leaked online probably minutes later. Saw it first at One Thirty BPM, who picked it up quick.
I’m not too crazy about “Erase Me”, it sorta falls flat for me. The chorus is either really corny, or really catchy. I can’t make up my mind, but I’m pretty sure this is going to be a radio hit. With that said, I’m also pretty sure Kid Cudi could do better. It features a guest spot from Kanye, and Kanye’s part is probably my favorite part of “Erase Me”. The song has guitar riff that sounds really, really, really, familiar. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but it sounds like something straight from the 90s.
“Erase Me” should be included on Cudi’s new album, Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager. The album is scheduled to come out on September 14th, the same day as Kanye’s Good Ass Job.
