The Sacred Broncos

By Will, July 3rd 2010 Band To Watch

I’m about to grab a bite from Joe’s Shanghai, but I wanted to make a quick post before I left for their amazing soup dumplings.

Check out a great garage/surf rock band from Fort Wayne, Indian called The Sacred Broncos. I have two songs from them that I would like to share with you. The first is “Desert Walkin’”, a surf friendly song that has psych influences sprinkled throughout. The second song is “Runnin’ Shoes”, a sunny delight with crisp guitars forming bright lit melodies.

Both songs show that The Sacred Broncos put their youthful energy to use with some feel good songs.

The band is coming to NYC soon. They will be playing at Piano’s on 7/17, and Don Pedro’s on 7/19. These shows are in part to celebrate the release of their “Don’t Mind/Lions” 7″ single. Hear those songs and more at the bands myspace.
