I caught a little bit of Loose Limbs opening set, but wasn’t all that impressed. Best Coast’s opening set was a lot of fun. Her music was a perfect fit for the hot sticky weather.
Free Energy always bring out the rock. This Friday’s free show at South Street Seaport was the third time that I have seen the band, and it was just as good as the previous times. The band sounded top notch, hitting all of the high points of Stuck On Nothing before the ominous rain storms hit NYC. The set was short but sweet. My friend and I sung our hearts out and danced to each song, having a blast. Free Energy are hands down one of the most fun live shows you will see. They have brought rock and roll back.
