It has been quite some time since Blood Red Shoes first released “I Wish I Was Someone Better”. I remember obsessing over that song for a while. I hate to admit it but I sort of fell off of them for a while. I have a few scattered songs from their first album, Box Of Secrets, but I never grew as attached as them as I thought/hoped.

Anyway, I just found the music video for their new single “Heartsink” and both the song & the video are wonderful. For the video they asked fans to bring something sentimental that made their “Heartsink”, in order to destroy it in the middle of a wasteland in London. Brilliant. Watch it below:

Their new album Fire Like This is set for an American release on October 12th. It was released in the UK this past March.
