A fella named Ghostwaves just sent over his dance inspired edit of Best Coast’s “Boyfriend”, and it’s kind of amazing. He finds a way to make Best Coast’s lo-fi summer rock work as a dance song, even throwing in his own part craving to be Bethany’s boyfriend. Super awesome.
Ghostwaves the moniker of Tom Weir, who is from Connecticut. If you check out his myspace, you can hear some more remixes that he has done for the likes of Body Language, White Hinterland, Memoryhouse, & Sleigh Bells. There is also an original song called “Come Around” that will be on his first EP.
