I still remember the rush that Jimmy Eat World’s “Sweetness” & “The Middle” gave me when I was in middle school. Well, those songs still sound as sweet as they did back then, and a lot of Jimmy Eat World’s singles still sound just as good. However, I thought their last album was pretty damn forgettable.
I just came across their new single, “My Best Theory” and think it’s certainly a step in the right direction for the band. It will be on the bands new album, Invented, which is out September 28th via Interscope.

i think the “chase this light” CD was their best CD… they of course had other stand out songs from different CDs, but as a whole… “chase this light” is epic.
