Ah what a treat. The Cribs have just released a new surprise single called “Housewife”. The band is currently recording their follow-up to Ignore The Ignorant, and they decided to release “Housewife” now, since it was played on BBC Radio the other day, and will be heard live at their Reading & Leeds Festival appearances.
“Housewife” is a synth led song that is appropriately tied to a zombie filled music video. While the synths are dark, the melody is rather bright. Perfect use of contrasting sounds. You can stream the single below:
