I was already impressed with The Lonely Forest without even hearing a single note from them. I found out they were the first band signed on Chris Walla of Death Cab for Cutie’s new label, Trans. I checked out “Live There”, a song from their self titled debut EP coming out on September 14th.
The Seattle, Washington band has a definite organic sound that is certain to hit close to home with you. Chris Walla knows his stuff, and he was on the money with The Lonely Forest. “Live There” is an impressive song that leads me to believe there are many more gems waiting to be unvealed from this band.

Walla not only signed them, but he also produced, engineered, and mixed both their EP and upcoming album Arrows (which is due next year). Keep your eyes locked on these guys.
