A radio rip of Kings Of Leon’s new single “Radioactive has surfaced, along with it’s official music video that was posted at the band’s website.
After a few listens to “Radioactive”, I gotta say it’s a fairly interesting track. With trademark funky bass, jittery guitar riffs, and Caleb’s southern inspired vocals, it’s quite Kings Of Leon. Yet it’s chorus, with backing vocals give it a bit of a gospel influence. It’s certainly different, and I’m happy with different.
It’s a good first taste of Come Around Sundown, and here’s to hoping the rest of the album shows the band trying out some new things, while keeping that ambitious sound that they’ve been building upon for years.
