Michael Schafer reached out to me with a link to his bandcamp page, along with this message:
Sound quality is admittedly low, but everything was recorded with the trusty Macbook built-in mic after midnight.
Michael, don’t worry about the quality (which was fine in my opinion), the songs speak for themselves. These are sincere, folk rock songs that are warm and upbeat.
He calls his work a “night-time” acoustic project, but I think that he has too much talent not to make something out of this.
