I’m proud of Florence for having such a good night at the VMA’s. She deserved it. Now she has a new music video, this time for her song, “Heavy In Your Arms”. Watch it below:

Chris Chu has released his 2nd EchoMix, and it includes a gorgous cover of Paul McCartney’s “Ram On”. If there is any fault to be found in his cover, it’s that it’s over way too fast.
You can grab that, along with the rest of the EchoMix, which Chris said was more of an autumn mix, this time around.

So Rogo found this radio rip of Cee-Lo’s “I Want You”, and whaddya know, it’s another gem from him. This one is a little more tame than “Fuck You”, but then again, it’s not trying to be like “Fuck You”. This is a more soulful side of Cee-Lo. You wouldn’t feel bad about mistaking this as a Gnarls Barkley song.
It’s got a vintage vibe to it that still sounds fresh and modern. Cee-Lo is a master of his craft.
“I Want You” should show up on Lady Killer, which is going to be one hell of an album.

Hey dog lovers. Get ready for some real dog love in Delorean’s music video for “Real Love”. I’m a dog guy, and thought this video was incredibly well done.

“Undertow”, is the single from Warpaint’s upcoming debut album The Fool, set for release on October 26th via Rough Trade. Warpaint are an all ladies band from L.A. who are pretty great. I posted about them a while back, and I’m really excited to hear what gems their LP brings.
“Undertow” is a beautiful song that displays the band’s abilty to craft intricate melodies.
These girls got it going on:

I know a lot of you guys were constantly telling me to get on Tame Impala’s debut album Innerspeaker. You guys constantly told me I’d love the Australian bands psych-rock, and you guys were spot on. I’ve had nothing but good things to say about it, especially the ever so fantastic “Solitude Is Bliss”.
These guys have a really fresh original sound that is drugged up and totally addictive. No matter how many times I’ve played it, it still hits just as hard.
Play this one loud. It’s the only way:

Don’t sleep no this band like I did for so long. You can grab Innerspeaker from insound now. They got it going on. Check out their upcoming north American tour dates that they just announced, after the jump:

Chromeo’s new album Business Casual officially dropped today, and along with it on iTunes came a bonus track called “I Could Be Wrong” that features Ezra Koenig of Vampire Weekend.
It’s more like a duet between them. “I Could Be Wrong” has 80s influence written all over it, with love hurt vocals done right. Love the part where they take a minute to talk it out.

Three of the Walkmen’s Lisbon bonus tracks are now online since the album has now officially been released. The songs were put on various online retailers such as iTunes & Amazonmp3 that came with a purchase of the bands new album. The three that I have here for streaming purposes are “Orange Sunday”, “All Black and White”, and “Grateful”.
“Orange Sunday” is a vintage tune that sounds like the band is playing with the water on their backs, and a bright moon over their heads. Quite a vocal performance from Mr. Hamilton Leithauser. Shame this one was left off the album, because it’s beautiful. “All Black and White” is a thumping Walkmen track with island influences sprinkled all over. There are the vintage tuned guitars that wouldn’t sound too out of place on any of their albums. Finally we got “Grateful”, a lovely track that is sincere, hopeful, and, well….grateful.
Stream them all below. Be sure to grab Lisbon if you haven’t already.
