[video] Surfer Blood Play Halfway House Session

By Will, October 11th 2010 — with 1 comment Video

Surfer Blood stopped by Grand Rapids, Michigan to perform a live in studio session for music blog Halfway House. The session contained cuts from Astrocoast, as well as the unreleased gem (a song they’ve been playing on tour) “I’m Not Ready” and a cover of Pavement’s “Box Elder”.

You can watch and download mp3′s of the entire session over at Halfway House. The session was absolutely fantastic in every way. Great performance from Surfer Blood, and great audio from Halfway House.

Check out “I’m Not Ready” & “Floating Vibes” below:

it still weirds me out how young they are. his voice sounds so much older and “mature.” strange to just see a bunch of kids performing. we had a good chat after their show last week. nice guys. seriously just a bunch of kids though. ha.
