Amy Winehouse is back! Well, sort of..
She has returned with her first new studio recording in years. It comes in the form of a cover of Lesley Gore classic “It’s My Party”. She recorded it for the upcoming album Q: Soul Bossa Nostra, a tribute to Quincy Jones that will be released November 9th (buy it here). Her old tag team partner Mark Ronson produced the song, making it seem like only yesterday Back In Black came out.
I’m really glad to hear new Amy. Hopefully she stays healthy and gives us another modern classic.
