So much new music hitting me at once. I love it. Just got word that The Decemberists are giving away new song “Down By The Water” for free.
The Decemberists are releasing new album, The King Is Dead on January 18th via Capitol Records. Down By The Water” will be one of the 10 songs on the album.
“Down By The Water” is a strong song that has a heavy country influence. It’s very much a Decemberists song, but there are some new elements involved that add a fresh spin to their familiar formula. Good to see them back. Always room for excitement at the prospect of a new Decemberists album.
