The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart sure are a busy band. They’ve been touring their excellent 2009 debut album non stop, and they released new single “Say No To Love” this past summer. The band has no intention of slowing down, and why should they? In this music climate, you gotta keep showing your face, or you may just be lost in the non stop musical wave.
Today the band is streaming their new single “Heart In Your Heartbreak”. It’s the first preview from the band’s new album, on schedule for a March 2011 release date. “Heart In Your Heartbreak” sounds like The Pains have found a way to keep doing what they are doing, just better. It’s a smart pop song that has a lot of crunch. It sounds bolder and confident. These guys know what they do, and they are continuing to do it extremely well.
The physical 7″ will be released on December 14th via Slumberland + Fortuna Pop. It will come with b-side “The One”. Stream “Heart” below:
