[Contest] Win Indian Rebound’s Limited EP

By Will, November 10th 2010 — with 20 comments Contest

Indian Rebound are a young favorite of mine. They’re a really talented band who are headed towards a path of success. They have just released their debut self titled EP on cassette via Wack Slacks (it comes with a link to grab digital downloads) and it’s extremely limited – as in only 100 copies. I have two pairs to give away to you guys, and here’s how we’re going to do this:

Leave a comment below with your favorite new band at the moment. If you have twitter, follow the band on twitter, because it may just help your chances of winning. If you don’t have twitter, give the band a like on their facebook page. If you do so, please notify me when you leave your comment with a link to your twitter account or facebook name. The band and I can then check that way.

I’ll choose the two winners on Sunday. It may or may not be based on the coolest answer. Have fun with it, and hopefully you’ll come away with one of these limited tapes. I have one myself, and it’s a beauty.

Posted below is “Make You Mine” & “Sitges”, two songs from the cassette:

[mp3]: Indian Rebound – Make You Mine

[stream]: Indian Rebound – Sitges:

My favorite new artist right now would have to be Prizes, formally known as Treasure. His song “Golden Things” is just too awesome and addicting. Wish he would stop changing his name and release and album or EP of some kind already! Yeah, my Twitter acount is http://twitter.com/#!/LoganNorris and his account it http://twitter.com/#!/h_ashurst.

My favorite new band is Ducksauce. Living in a southern fraternity, everyone thinks the music I listen to is ‘weird’, but when I started jamming out to Ducksauce’s “Barbra Streisand,” it was an instant rager classic (how can you not dance to the song?) How To Dress Well and Twin shadow are also on heavy rotation.

I really have been enjoying how to dress well recently, its pretty good. As well as The Givers and a band called Hospitality. Neither have albums out yet but their sounds are sooooo good to listen to. Every song is something fantastical.
