Gobble Gobble – Lawn Knives

By Will, December 9th 2010 — with 2 comments MP3

Due to my unorganized planning, I totally missed out on Gobble Gobble’s many CMJ shows this year. I am really upset at myself, because I heard that their live show is out of this world. With incredibly unique offerings like “Lawn Knives”, I can see why people are (literally) going nuts for this band. It’s blipped out electronic fuzz laced with smart pop wits. Say what?

I still owe you guys my best of 2010 lists. You can bet “Lawn Knives” will be included.

The band has just made all of their material available for free download on their bandcamp. Be sure to follow them on Tumblr as well, they post lots of free songs and remixes of their own stuff.

This is going to be one of the best bands of 2011. Everything Cecil Frena gets his hands on turns to gold. Glad you’re helping spread the word!
