If you pre-order R.E.M.’s new album Collapse Into Now on iTunes you got an early download of the single, “It Happened Today”. The song features some backing vocals from Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder. It’s not a bad song by any means. It’s a big inspiring song with soaring vocals.
