Last spring I discovered The Luyas when they opened for The Morning Benders at The Music Hall Of Williamsburg. It was a pretty impressive opening set, and I’m ready for more. The band is releasing a new album titled, Too Beautiful To Work, on February 22nd via Dead Oceans. Perfect.
Take a listen to the title track below. It’s a jittery electronic love song that is beautiful in a quirky way. Really cool stuff. Different from a lot of music out there, and that’s certainly worth a listen alone:
