Contest With Tsunami Mobile Application

By Will, March 23rd 2011 — with 2 comments Contest

Tsunami is an iPhone app that plays music from different stations managed by blogs and artists. Anyone can open a station by emailing Tsunami at info@tsunami234.com. If you have an iPhone, be sure to check the app out. They opened one for us, and I got to say, it’s a very neat application. Now they got a contest for all artists/bloggers to check out:

From April 1st through April 30th, Tsunami will be running a competition to see who can create the most popular artist station. Whatever station gets the most hits will be awarded $1,000. To compete, send an email to weallwantsomeone@gmail.com with two music samples, a Twitter ID, and a website/Facebook/SoundCloud link. If your entry is accepted, you’ll become part of the the We All Want Someone team in the competition and we’ll create a station with you.

If you’re a blog or website and want to compete by submitting your own teams for another $500 cash prize, email Tsunami directly at info@tsunami234.com. An updated list of the top 3 blogs and top 5 artists will be posted daily here and at www.tsunami234.com.

Think it through, you can’t go wrong here. Good luck to everyone!

gotta say it’s pretty tasteless to use your blog as an advertising platform to plug a product called “tsunami” in the wake of the Japan disaster.

I didn’t say anything tasteless against the tsunami, trust me, that’s not who I am. This is the name of an application that was created months before the unfortunate incident in Japan. That’s all.

You’re trying to make it into something that it isn’t.
