[new] Death Cab for Cutie – You Are A Tourist

Today 107.7 The End posted Death Cab For Cutie’s new single “You Are A Tourist”. I’m pleased to hear how well the single turned out to be. It’s a joyful display of indie guitar rock with a sharp riff that proves that Death Cab has plenty left in their tank. I expected something more electronic after reading album previews, so it’s direction was quite a pleasant surprise. It has traces of electronic lingering in the horizon, but guitars and shiny production stand tall in the forefront.

Death Cab fans are some of the hardest to please, but I personally think they’ve done right here. Stream it below:
