Our pals Young Empires performed a session for the always wonderful Daytrotter. They performed the (already) familiar tracks “White Doves” & “Glory Of The Night” along with two new tracks: “Enter Through The Sun” & “Let You Sleep Tonight” where Matt sounds a lot like The Cure’s Robert Smith. So much so, that it’s scary.
Young Empires are able to put the same amount of emotion and depth into their studio recordings as they do live. Their a live band first and foremost, and it really shows.
