Houston, Texas band, Something Fierce, call themselves a power-pop/punk band on their myspace. After listening to “Empty Screens”, I would say this description is spot on. They almost sound like a poppier/friendlier version of Los Campesinos.”Empty Screens” is a joyful little pop gem that will have your finger eager to hit the repeat button. These guys got a great pop sound that probably translates really well live. This is great, great, stuff.
