A 30 Second clip of Arctic Monkeys’ new single “Don’t Sit Down ‘Cause I’ve Moved Your Chair” has hit the internet. It’s just enough to give us an idea of what kind of vibe that the boys are working with. From the short clip, it sounds like a heavy single that wouldn’t have been too miscast on Humbug. It has drugged out guitars that don’t shy away from the druggy desert rock sound that they’ve been experimenting with.
Remember, this is only a small sample of the song, so don’t judge it too hard. We will have to wait until next Monday to hear the full thing.

It’s not bad by any stretch, but I think the band has lost that edge that made them so exciting.
