Good music captures the essence of the human soul in its sound, lyrical content, and overall feeling. Immediately you are able to feel something. It might be melancholy, sadness, or joy. It could cause you to recall a previous memory of a love lost, or a special time that seems centuries ago. Either way, it does something for you emotionally.
This is exactly what I’m experiencing with James Kelly Pitts‘ incredible song, “Kettle”.
James Kelly Pitts is an upcoming folk artist from Seattle, Washington. Growing up, James experienced a lot of change, as he was constantly moving as a son of a military man. His unique life experiences are reflected in “Kettle”. It takes you alongside James as he reflects upon his journeys, and he invites you to join him on his current one.
Take a chance, “Kettle” will blow you away:

I’ve known Jimmy for about 7 years now. He’s always been a lyrical genius in my opinion. It’s about damn time he released an album. he’s always been such a creative artist and song writer, and the atmospheric noise and sonic overtones he creates give me chills. Way to go bro! Can’t wait to hear the whole album!
