Win A Pair Of Tickets To BOMB Fest

By Will, May 19th 2011 — with 20 comments Music Festival

BOMB Fest takes place at the Comcast Theatre in Hartford, Connecticut on May 28th/29th, which is rapidly coming up soon. If you don’t know what the festival is, take a look at the poster above, or click here. It features an incredibly diverse lineup that has something for everyone to enjoy.

I know times are hard and it’s not easy to afford all these great summer festivals. The kind people that run BOMB Fest have given us a pair of tickets to give away to one of you. To win, leave a comment with the top 3 coolest things about summer music festivals. I’ll pick a winner before the end of next week.

Good luck!

    2. The way you feel days and days after the festival, wishing that you were back.
    3. That moment when it gets to be night and you take a break from all the music, and just drown everything out. You take a moment to look around you, and let everything sink it. The lights, the people, the music, and realize just how truly amazing everything is.

A bit cliche, but that’s the way i feel.

    1. the way everyone is so kind to each other. People have no problem sharing Food, blankets, space, anything with you. It’s not something I usually get to experience outside of this setting and I love that It’s music that brings together people who would otherwise be strangers.
    2. Going to music festivals, Even though it can be costly, helps me remember the simplest joys in life. Being wIth friends, having nice conversations with strangers, soaking up the sun, and of course the music itself are all my favorite things and it’s rare that i get to experience them all at once.
    3. My favorite part is that one moment when you’re surrounded by people on all sides, watching a musician play your favorite song. there’s that one point where the excitement starts to build, the crowd is so full of energy, the band is Feeding off the crowd and all of a sudden Everyone Just feels totally united. its the best feeling in the world, complete euphoria.
