I was sleeping on the job when Mikey dropped a new Blackbird Blackbird song called “Calypso”. Dark hypnotic rhythms of dark waves haunt this track. Mikey has become a master of creating visceral electronic jams that pack a lot of emotion without using any words at all.
This may be on his new EP Passions that he has been hinting at on the Blackbird Blackbird facebook page. Any EP would be lucky to feature a track this good.
