Arctic Monkeys have wisely chosen “The Hellcat Spangled Shalalala” as their new single. This morning they released it’s grainy music video directed by their new friends Focus Creeps. It documents the experience of being an Arctic Monkeys before, during, and after, one of their live shows. I can only wish that I could experience it.

Substituting “Shalalala” for a chorus is cheap, just like substituting “I wanna rock and roll, brick by brick” for a verse. Oh wait… that was them too. God, this band is awful.
