I liked the Dum Dum Girls debut album enough, but no track had caught my attention like the bands new song “Coming Down”. It’s the first taste of their new album, Only In Dreams, which drops September 27 via Sub Pop Records.
Immediately I was reminded of Mazzy Star’s “Fade Into You”, which is a special song for my friends and I since we recently fell in love with after it came on pandora during our trip home from Bonnaroo. Maybe it’s the source of inspiration, or maybe it’s just a coincidence. Either way, “Coming Down” stands tall among many tracks, and is bound to impress you.
How can you not love girls that can make you swoon?
