Trevor Powers is the 22 year old genius behind Youth Lagoon. Fat Possum will release his debut album, The Year Of Hibernation, on September 27.

He first came to attention with a free badcamp release and now he’s taking breaths away with his inspirational song, “Montana”. It’s just incredible. Words can’t really describe the magical waters that it touches. You just got to listen:

Keep an eye out for Youth Lagoon. “Montana” is certainly a highlight of the year. Who knows what other gems this kid will deliver on The Year Of Hibernation.
