Coldplay decided to honor R.E.M. (who broke up) at their show at Atlanta last night. They covered R.E.M.’s great ballad “Everybody Hurts” and told the crowd that R.E.M. are on of their favorites, and were saddened by the news. They don’t want fans to judge their cover, but to see it for the gesture since they truly respect the band.
