For this week’s Visiomento session The Drums posted a live performance of Portomento track, “I Need A Doctor”. I can’t get enough of that bouncy bassline.

While playing a Live Lounge session for BBC Radio 1, The Kooks covered “Pumped Up Kicks” like so many have as of late. Luke’s voice starts out a bit rough, but it’s a fun listen after that. It’s a rainy day up here so I wanted to post something on the lighter side of the serious spectrum.

Really cool music video for Chairlift’s “Amanaemonesia”. It was directed by Todd Hines and Chairlift’s front-woman Caroline Polachek, who is also the star. She choreographed the video herself, which is very cool.

“Nodding Off” is another cut from Wavves’ upcoming EP Life Sux. His close pal Bethany a.k.a. Best Coast guests on the track and doesn’t miss a beat. More summer inspired slacker pop that won’t have you nodding off. This is gonna be one enjoyable EP.

“AKA… What A Life!” is the next single to be released from Noel Gallagher’s debut album, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, which will be released on October 17. It’s a smooth melodic track, which sounds like a more at-ease Noel than we’ve heard of late. It’s sounding great.

“Then It’s White” is a spaced out 8 minute jam from The Field’s upcoming new album, Looping State Of Mind. It’s sedated and it takes time to convince you of it’s power, but once your convinced, there’s no going back.
Looping State Of Mind is going to be released on October 10 via Kompakt. Download “Then It’s White” below:
