For All The Girls is the project of Provo, Utah’s Damien Fairchild. Today he released a single titled “Phylicia”. It’s a smart little pop song with an old school style melody. I was immediately impressed. Here’s how his bandcamp page describes him:
My name is Damien. I write love songs for the girls I am in love with or have loved at one point in time. I pretty much stay at home and play music
What truly blew my mind was the next part of his e-mail. Where he said he is planning to release his first album (self-titled), on Feb 14th, which his 14th birthday. You read that correctly.
If this is the work of Damien at 14, I can only imagine what the future will bring. Mind. Blown.
