Seeing King Krule in person puts his talent in perspective. He and his band look even younger when seen in person, but remember, age is just a number. His music was distinct and full of soul. He didn’t play his Zoo Kid track, “Out Getting Ribs”, a clear sign that this young man has truly moved on as his new persona, King Krule.
It was one of the many shows that he played during CMJ, and I don’t know where it stands with the rest, but I was very impressed at the talent of this young man.
Found him after the show and just a quick handshake made me realize at just how young he is. I’m only 21 yet I felt real old. The sky is the limit for Mr. Archy. It’s gonna be fun to watch his rise.
