Sometimes songs don’t fit on a band’s album. This is often why we have b-sides. Some bands best music comes through b-sides. This is usually because the band records the music honestly, without worrying about it fitting in. But sometimes these b-sides are so damn good that you really wonder how it isn’t on the album.
This is certainly the case with “In Love Divine”, a song that was included as a bonus track of the Japanese version of The Rapture’s new album, In The Grace Of Your Love. It’s a thunderous track full on booming psychedelic influences and fantastic dance undertones. It’s arguably one of the best things that they’ve ever released.
It definitely sounds more like something they would have done earlier, which is probably why it didn’t make the cut, but damn, this track deserves to be heard by everyone.
