White Rabbits are back in a big way with an excellent new song, “Heavy Metal”. It may not be metal, but it’s got plenty of heavy.
Think of the smart psychedelic offerings of recent Wilco with soulful singing from White Rabbits Stephen Patterson. Those chopped up guitar lines are very reminiscent of Spoon, which makes sense since both bands maintain a good friendship.
This song is killer good. It’s off of their upcoming new album Milk Famous, due out on March 13.
