Metric have announced a new album titled Synthetica. The album is due June 12 via Mom + Pop Music.
The Toronto band recorded it in their own studio, Giant, in Toronto as well as at Electric Lady Studios in NYC. The band’s very own Jimmy Shaw produced it. Lead singer Emily Haines described the album as:
It sounds like the culmination of everything we have done. We’ve always had a sound in our heads that we hoped to realize and we finally heard it coming back out of the speakers this time.
