“Sixteen Saltines” is off of Jack White’s debut solo album Blunderbuss. He debuted the song during this weekend’s SNL performance, and now he’s currently streaming it over at his site. I’ve embedded it below for your convenient listening pleasure.
Funky blues-inspired riffs and Jack’s signature vocals will do well to comfort us in this post-apocalyptic White Stripes era.
If you like what you hear, the single’s 7″ is up for pre-order. The b-side is a cover of U2’s “Love Is Blindness”. The single is due on March 20, while Blunderbuss is due April 24 on Third Man Records/Columbia.
