Japandroids hit hard with new single “The House That Heaven Built”. It’s taken from new album Celebration Rock which comes out June 5 via Polyvinyl.

The single is immediate, in your face, noise-pop that will cause for high speeds on the road with the windows down, and the volume cranked way up. Don’t know if noisey garage-rock has ever been this accessible. I’m stunned right now, this is off the wall good.

A 7″ of the single will be released on May 15. The b-side is a cover of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds’ “Jack the Ripper”. Find the tracklist for Celebration Rock below, along with upcoming tour dates.
