14th’s “Take Me There” is the song of the week at our headquarters (my room). The London duo of Tracey Duodu & Tom Barber have crafted one hell of a song. It’s like a hybrid of electronic, dance, r&b, pop, and dare I say (good) dubstep. Yeah, it’s got a lot going on, and I’m loving it.

Some parts remind me of The XX, Burial, Jamie XX, Jamie Woon. So clearly, they got that dark, minimal, electronic sound of London down. It’s moody, sexy, and it has an incredible sound. It just hits you right away, and by the time it’s done, the only sensable option is to hit repeat.

Contender for best song of 2012? Yes please mate.
