The Killers new album is titled Battle Born. Lead singer Brandon Flowers revealed the news in conversation with Rolling Stone. Flowers said that Battle Born is both the name of the band’s studio and a name for their home state, Nevada. Flowers was quoted saying:

In a sense, all Americans are battle born. Our ancestors came here for something better.

Some song titled include: “Heart Of A Girl”, “Flesh And Bone”, “Carry Me Home”, and “Runaways”.  Stuart Price, Steve Lillywhite, Damian Taylor and Brendan O’Brien all have some production credits.

Battle Born is potentially coming out this fall. Hopefully the album is more of Sam’s Town/Hot Fuss than their last release, the mostly forgettable and stale Day & Age.

Over the summer the band played a new song entitled “The Rising Tide” find that here, or posted below.
