Hmm let’s see. Wild Flag, a band consisting of members from Sleater-Kinney, Helium, and The Minders. which includes the newly-famous Carrie Brownstein from Portlandia. Recipe for a guaranteed all-around awesome time? The answer is yes.
These girls did more rocking than most of the bands through the entire weekend. From start to finish, they were relentless, giving us all a reason to believe that rock and roll really isn’t dead, because, with bands like Wild Flag, there’s still hope. Watching Carrie go wild on stage was enough to make my weekend. Scratch that. Month.
