The xx have released “Chained”, the second song on their new album Coexist. While the first track, “Angels” was vocally lead by Romy Madley-Croft, “Chained” is lead by Oliver Sim.
“Angels” was one of the bands more spread out, paced moments. “Chained” is a bit more easy going, as the band give themselves more free space to spread their wings. It’s a more refined version of the band that we heard on their debut, which is a great thing. Take a listen below.
