Sigur Ros came out and did in fact sound as heavenly beautiful as you have dreamed they would. I only caught the first half of their set, and can definitely see them achieving even greater heights at a more intimate venue, but there’s no reason for me to complain. These guys don’t hold back on the natural beauty, and are something to behold live. Jonsi’s voice is like no one elses, and his ability to lead such a poetic band of musicians is something of a major achievement.
