Yuno – Sunlight

By Will Oliver, August 16th 2012 New Stream

Yuno is the new moniker of the Florida artist formerly known as unouomedude who we posted early last year. He’s made a good move switching his name, and it’s fitting that the name comes paired with the release of an absolute winner of a new song titled “Sunlight”.

The song opens with a gentle hush, briskly letting the cool breezy chorus trickle in. It’s easy-going, memorable, and damn fine. It’s pop perfect in the simplest form, and I am unable to let this one go.

If there was ever a way for Sunlight to sound, this should be it. Chalk this up there as one of 2012’s surprises. If we had a “best new music” label, this would surely get the stamp.

“Sunlight” will grace his new album V. Yuno launched a kickstarter campaign in order to help improve the recording of the album, as well as tour. The album is looking at an early release in 2013 (if we make it that far).
